Margaret Oaikena is the Assistant Director of First-Year Programming at the UNT Career Center. She has 10 years of experience developing and implementing successful college and career outreach programs in higher education, K-12, and the non-profit sector. Margaret is a collaborative leader who is dedicated to creating access and opportunities for underrepresented students to reach their full potential. She earned both her M.Ed. in Counseling and B.S. in Psychology from Texas Christian University and is now pursuing her Ph.D. in Higher Education at UNT.
